Thank you for smoking (with John B. Hayes)

Hey, we all have our vices - and for many, it’s kicking back after a long day with a quality cigar. While I love a quality cigar from time to time, I myself am certainly no expert; which is why when I get the itch to relax with a cigar in hand, I always go to John B. Hayes. First off, everyone there is extremely welcoming from the staff to the regulars. It’s as if you’re entering into the tobacconist version of Cheers. You halfway expect Sam Malone to pop out from behind the counter.

Immediately upon walking in, the comforting aroma of quality tobacco mixed with hints of oak and leather surrounds you. You can usually find a handful of regulars laid back, relishing in a much needed smoke break and a good conversation. The whole experience and overall vibe circling around John B. Hayes is instantly calming.

However, I think that personally one of my favorite aspects is that even if you don’t know the first thing about cigars, you’re still welcomed with open arms. They’re more than willing to answer any questions, and to help you select the perfect cigar for both your palate, and your price range. And if you’re looking to buy one as a gift, their expert team can help with that as well. I know that for myself personally, I’ve purchased many gifts for my cigar loving friends at John B. Hayes, and the staff have never steered me wrong.

So next time you’re in the market for a quality smoke with some quality folks, be sure to give this local gem a try. It’s a place where everybody knows your name (and you’re certainly always glad you came). I guarantee, you won’t be disappointed; and if by the off chance that you are - then I suggest finding a new vice.
